Default Help with my wireless WGR614 router please

I bought a PSP lite and wanted to see if I could connect it to the internet. Every time I tried to do so I needed either the WEP or WPA key depending on what I selected. As i didn't know either I googled on how to find them. This was what I tried:

"step 1 Go to the control panel
Go to the control panel and double-click the "Wireless set-up wizard" (or something like that).

step 2 Add more computers
(Don't worry, you actually aren't) Click "Add computers to the ******** network" and click on the manual button.

step 3 Nearly done
(You aren't printing it out either) Click the print button and it should come up with a file that contains your WEP/WPA key.

step 4 You're done
It's simple! Now get yourself a beer and enjoy the good life. (Under 18s, OJ will do.)"

Now my PC cannot connect to the router. When I select View Wireless Networks the router is there, I click Connect, the PC finds the router, says connected but almost immediately becomes disconnected. It keeps saying trying to acquire network address.

Am I going to have the set up the wireless router from scratch again or is there a simpler solution. Any help would be much appreciated.

The PSP does now connect to the router.

Try this mate:

Start -> Control Panel -> Network connections -> (right click) Wireless network connections -> Properties -> Wireless networks (tab) -> remove them all.

Scan for your wireless router, select it and then RE-ENTER your password.

Off the top of my head.
