Hello all, I bought modem ntl:250 on ebay with the instruction to change the settings through NTL250 Configrator V1.21 ,it was working fine untill a couple of weeks ago went down now I change many config files and mac numbers but still not working any Ideas plz? thanks

When you use the configurator, when you connect you will see Force config ticked, untick that, and then write settings to the modem. Remember to always untick the config.

Yes, but make sure you untick the Force config.

Make sure it has NO tick.

This same question is getting asked every day by different people.

It's nice to have a place to extract info from, I say extract as opposed to fed.

If you want to mod cable modems, expect to do some learning. Everyone here on this forum all started out just like you.

Read more and be in a position to help as well as be helped.

HI i wouldent mind if you could go into the 192.168.100.1 page ie open a web page with modem fully connected and turned on..
in the address bar type 192.168.100.1 and it will go on to infinite or haxoware page and goto status section report back if the modem says operational or if its waiting for dhcp ect to reply still.. this will help me to help youa screen dump would be great if you could post that m8..
we are all haveing this problem but there is a way to get bk online if you are patient enough to try what i will guide you through.
also use a app called smac to change your pc mac adress befor connecting your modem back to vm cable m8... this often helps if your addy is blacklisted by the server.. ill post a link here.. after you get bk to me on the 192 page ill see what i can do to help bud.

Its called spoofing ur Nic Mac. People are aware of this and most people including myself even after we have spoofed the mac can get online but mac gets blacklisted almost immediately again.

Are you seriously asking for the username and password for Infinite firmware?
The defaults are Infinite - SetValue for the webgui.

It would have taken you less time to use the search function and find it yourself than it would have been for you to post the question.
