hi all ive been using a hacked ambit 200 with sigma firmwarefor about a month now and on thursday it went down this has happened before and i just changed my NIC mac and the mac in sigma config section and it came back on but this time everytime i change these 2 things it comes back on then withing seconds they are all blocked again any suggestions would be appreciated thanks in advance

This is happening all over the UK, there is no quick fix. Settings that work for some don't work for others I'm afraid.
Take a look around the forum for modem settings that might work for you m8.

same here mate, internet comes on by itself for 10-15mins then goes off again, been like this for a couple of days now????
using a mac from a subbed friends house still the same??? any clues anyone |

this not area specific at times? cos all week its been north east thats been the hardest but its on (for now and last hour) for me and a few ive done?

from a very good source,and its not a rumour,i cannot go into the full details of this but they can brick modems and routers with the new software,all down to a signal they are sending down the feed to disable modems with non compliant software that certain modems are running on,and i have not read anything,keep an eye on this forum and others for peeps having the same problem over time..

its early days,modems only starting going down last week,they cannot hit them all at once,trials are on going to make sure that they are not causing upset to genuine customer,s,as they did in nov 06 when they wiped out a lot of vm geniune cable tv cards..
