Default Dreambox 800hd pvr

I have purchased recently a DREAMBOX 800 HD PVR and i have a problem on which I hope to have your help.

I used the equipment tuned on HOTBIRD satelite and I received all channels of the package "NETMED" (NOVA) watching in perfect mode, in my secondary home which is equipped with a "TELEVES" antenna with 2 LNB.

Using the same equipment with the same configuration in my main home, which is equiped with a central antenna, with one LNB and distributor for each appartment, some of the SERVICES (Channels), of the same as above package cannot be seen and I get the message "SID NOT FOUND" when tune on them.

Using another equipment, with the same antenna in my main home, I can watch normaly all the channels, including those that DREAMBOX cannot receive, which I think indicates that there is no problem of antenna.

I'll highly appreciate any sugestion on how I can overcome this problem!

The 800 seems to be particularly finicky about the tuner configuration. More so than the 7000.

I assume that the home central distribution system dish is pointing at Hotbird so you should be able to get all channels but the lamedb file used for the second home does not suit the home system.

I would suggest the simplest option might be to use Barryallen to multiboot two copies of the same image (or different images if you prefer) and then use one of the images to setup and scan the home dish system and the other image to scan the second home dish system.

That way you keep the two configs separate and easily switch bewteen the two depending upon where you are.
