New SKY EPG software set to be released - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Sky is to begin uploading a brand new version of its Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) software to Digiboxes this week. The broadcaster is reported to have said version 4 of the EPG will start to be deployed into some boxes this week and in other boxes during the next fortnight.

Some channels are also to be allocated new EPG numbers over the next few weeks. It comes as two new genres are aded to the EPG. They will be "Lifestyle and Culture" & "Gaming and Dating".
