Hi everyone,
Can anyone please guide me on how to upgrade the firmware on Pace 4000 box and more importantly where do I get the software from and finally do I need to update. The reason why I am asking is that my Pace box is not booting just giving errors or wierd signs on the display like lillill... also it won't give me anything on the TV. SOmetimes it also gives me Err1 message.

you need to reflow the atmel mate you may have a dry joint

my mate got a pace 4000 and 1000 and has n3 watching all channels..i HAVE SEEN THEM RUNNING.

Heard a whisper that the nag3 is nearly cracked and someone somewhere is having moderate success and is sure its round the corner

Lmaoooo... nearly cracked???? Oh please how long are people going to spread these chinese whispers???

Mate the only way forward is C/S. No crack or hack is round the corner. If it aint cracked on SAT first then it defo aint cracked anywhere else.

I guess its a similar whisper which was spoken about Starview servers coming back..lol.. been over a week now and no Servers back online. Infact you have more chance of Starview servers coming back then N3 to be cracked.

Generally you should allow the box to update itself rather than forcing the issue. When the box goes online it automatically checks for the latest firmware.

As memtioned though, your problem is a hardware failure - likely to be caused by a dry joint on the Atmel chips.
