Sky has announced that it will launch a PIN-protected films service from January 30 which will allow 15-rated films to be shown during the daytime.
The PIN-protection feature was added to Sky Digital boxes during an over-the-air software upgrade last year. The films will be available at no extra cost. Sky Movies will offer subscribers an additional choice of films in primetime via the launch of Sky Movies 10 between 1700 and 0300. At launch, Sky will be offering access to PIN protected films at 1700 each afternoon (plus occasionally also at 1900) on Sky Movies 9 and Sky Movies 10. |
