how to chip virgin media box?

hi guys.

before you post your answers please note:

i am a newbie. i dont know anything about tvs or sateliites and stuff like.

on your answers please dont use words that only a person familiar with stuff like would know as i will not understand it.

right.

i am moving to a new flat, and at the moment i cant afford to pay for digital tv. i know someone that is selling a chipped box for £150, and i cannot afford that either, therefore i would like to know how to do it myself.

can anyone give me detailed step by step instructions on how to chip a virgin box. this includes the stuff that i need to buy to actually do it.

at the moment i have nothing. when i say that i mean i dont have a virgin box to chip. and i dont know wether the flat i am moving to has a live connection.

so please give me step by step instructions on how to do it. #

and remember, i am a newbie.

and its better to pay virgin something if everybody just want free who is going to pay to keep it working.
