Confused?? Need Help!?!

We have Virgin media in our living room (used to have eurovox) I want the eurovox box in my bedroom now which is above the brown box outside. I have just purchased a Splitter kit on ebay.

Kit Includes:

2 Way Splitter 5-2400 MHz

2 X 1.5 Meter Factory Made Patch Leads

1 X F to Coax Adaptor (Male)

1 x F – F Coupler

3 x F Plugs

I dont know what I am doing or what Wire is what in the brown box. Is there any tutorials with like videos or images?? It great telling me but I need to see it to understand.

cant think of anywhere where there are pics, etc.

Very simple though. You just need to run a cable upstairs to your room. You will obviously need a longer cable, but these are cheap anyway.

You existing feed (wire) will run into the splitter. One will then go into your existing box, and the 2nd will run upstairs into the Eurovox. you can buy the cables tacs which will hold it in place and make it look neat.

Are the leads the 2 X 1.5 Meter Factory Made Patch Leads that need to run up the wall to the bed room?? Because I think 2 1.5 meter ones might be ok.
So the live feed goes into splitter. Downstairs goes in one and upstairs go into another then i run it up the wall to the bedroom???

Thats right.

Very simple to do, and just so long as you can connect the 2x 1.5m wires withe the supplied connections, you will be ok. If not Ebay or maplin will have the right connection for a few pounds.

Well at the moment my splitter kit has not come but has been shipped. If it arrives tomorrow then I will give it a go & be back on here for more help but thanks for now Andy20.
