Default help with webstar 2100

hi all can someone help me out with a webstar 2100 i av just been given this modem off a friend it as not been flashed with any program i av not done these before so i dont no were 2 start with this i av done 250 255 but 4 the life off me cannot do this one can anybody tell me witch lead i need and wat program also looked through tuts but cannot find anything 2 help will my 233 lead that i use on the250 255 do the job i opened the webstar but the lead 4 the 250 seems wider for the webstar plz help would like 2 thank all who respond cheer

There is one I have used on wizmods just search...What is the best tut for a Webstar 2100. Its quite good. You do use the 232.

thanx blue nose my 232 connection lead seems wider the plug on the end does not fit on the webstar pins properly

you'll ned to solder to the back of the pins,

make an adapter or something.

cheers g77 i made a lead up off a speaker with connections but the still seem2 b loose wat do i solder the pins r in the top off board i cut the white plastic off were the pins r thinking that i would b able 2 connect lead that way but still no joy were is the program i need cheers

You need a console cable which has the correct connection, or take the plug off of the cable and solder the wires directly to the pins.

i use a connector i found off an old mother board i cut down each corner of the white plastic with a stanley knife and it breaks away with your finger easily
