Hi Osbourn,
welcome to the forum. I have moved your post to Satellite Help & Support, until we can work out what you're trying to do. 1. The Prussian Card 4 is a Funcard 6. 2. You wont open anything but FTA channels on 28.2E, no matter what you program. 3. You wont open much with a Funcard at all, same for your Magic Module. I'm sorry to say that your equipment is greatly out of date, whereas when you bought it you would have been able to open quite a lot of channels. I believe you used to be able to convert the Technomate 5500 series receivers into Next receivers, using special software, if you do this you can open the Digi TV package on 1W. Go to Alsat, another forum, and have a read through the Next-TM 5000 Series forum. Alternatively you can get an old Dragon Cam, which should work in your receiver, and view the Digi TV package. However this package wont be available for much longer so it might be wise to wait a few weeks and see if anything new becomes available. I would recommend adding a motor to your dish to give you more options in the satellite hobby. Last edited by Mickha; 02-05-09 at 09:42 AM. |

Ive setup the 1 metre dish and all is working perfect. Question--------to view as many stations as possible on this sat, were do I get keys and how do I program the funcard. Can you point me to a novice book or pdf help file that I can study. Many thanks and kindest regards.

If you want the Sky pay channels you pay those nice people at Sky between 16 & 40 beer tokens every one of your Earthling months
We have a very simple rule for Sky UK that we tell the punters every time this question comes up: You want the pay channels = you pay for them You dont want to pay = you do without Your choice

This is your second thread on the same subject, I moved your first from the introductions section.
I have now merged the two threads together. |
