How do you mean "crack"? Uncap for faster internet access or find a a "backdoor/loophole" for free internet?

think he means to unlock it so u can use any mobile broadband ie from 3 to o2,voda,ect, i did my mates E220 was on 3 but got it unlocked to take any sim, so now my m8 uses an o2 sim for the iphone,(on flea bay for under a fiver) tops it up wi a tenner (1off) and now he gets free net for 12mths, very handy if u only browsin net, and not wantin any contract, going down south wi his laptop on sat, and of course the 3(unlocked) dongle, will be surfin all way down there..

If you're talking about the "Free" dongle that's available online, it's a ZTE dongle and the ulocking file is called "UnlockUSBDongleFree.zip"

You may find it with a Google search or even from the forums Private FTA download links

I did buy the £100 offer on the forum, that was for a dongle and properly activated SIM card, I've been using it for a few Months and performs well, it's one of the few dongles that's uncapped to full 7.2Mbit

Why not try here h**p://www.3dongle4free.co.uk/ then unlock it, pop an o2 sim in

Once you get this dongle £5(postage), an 02 sim £2, an 02 top up £10, and get it unlocked . That will be all you will need so it will be about £20 and you will get up to 12 months (you can get less if they think your not using an iphone, although reading around you generally get 7 +).

so all in all a bargain, considering just the modem is normally £29.

the sim with £10 top up already for £6
h**p://cgi.ebay.co.uk/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=280345396186

and here for s/w to unlock it h**p://***************/files/235716621/ZTE627.zip

Config Settings for o2 sim

config filname:
dial no: *99#
username: payandgo
password: payandgo
APN: payandgo.o2.co.uk
pdp type: IP
auth mode: PAP

and set it to be default
