Hi all i need help with a pace D14010-N box. I was given this box and thought i would sort in out for my mate. It has previously been moded and used, it has a 163 4th Gen card. What equpment would i need to get it up and running. I pessume i would need to somehow reprogram the card as it has not been used for 2 years. So if anyone could point me at a tut for newbies i would be gratefull. As you probobly realise i am new to card programing so please keep replies simple.Thanks in advance

u need programer (phoenix) is the best I think. u also need to novice angel guide, check underneath the box are there numbers/alphabet coz in order to them u need to have IRD/BK code some times written underneath the box.

so all in all you need.

1= IRD/BK (can be found in the card as well)
2= programer (costs about 30 quid)
3= novice angel guide or noobs guide for pace/4010 (its in the d/loads)

He means the BK mate, double check it to make sure it is correct. Did you leave the box on BBC One for 5 minutes to give the keys time to update? Also, did you program the latest AU flash to the card?

what have you done, tell us step by step and we will try to find where u went wrong.

i am having to rely on someone else to program the card as i have not yet got a programmer but they insist the bk is correct and it is an au flash but i have my doubts hence the questions also can anyone tell me if a violet phoenix (smarthouse) programmer will do the job

Yes it will, TMC has an LED SIMM in stock I think or you could ask for one on the forum.
