dreambox help

HI all. I live in cyprus and was sold a dreambox dm500 together with a 1m dish all connected to a server which gave showtime arabia sky italia greek nova sports(all prem games) and bfbs forces channel ie east enders emmerdale and 1 day late british tv. The guy who was running the server was arrested for retransmitting services and shut down. what i need to know is what can I do with this box. I havent a clue how to do any af the settings, is it poss to connect to another server to get some channels at least I know I cant get what I WAS getting, but I must be able to get somthing, when swiched on it says ccam nabilosat if that helps

AT the moment you gave a nice fta box

The receiver is almost certainly password locked to stop anyone tampering with the settings, so you would need to flash the box with a clean image an basically start again.

You will need to find a new pay server provider or set your own system up with a few friends.

The problem with pay servers is that you have no idea whose running them - it could be a Russian drug ring looking for easy money, one of the pay tv companies running a sting operation, or the Sicilian Mafia for all you know.

Please note you wont get more than general help in setting up a new card share - c/s is illegal and theoreticallyanyone helping you could be arrested!
