DHCP sniffer. jus a little assistance please.
I got a few macs that work perfectly they start with 00:14:a4 the last two digits are different. when i enter these into dhcp sniffer it finds macs and none of them work they all disconnect straight away.

Can anyone direct me on how i should use this.

brute force it to get working macs but dont do it too often m8.

yea i do its jus the macs it finds seem to disconnect but i use one that works as base so the ones i find should work right?

You've just got to keep trying different Mac's in the current climate I'm afraid mate.

got two macs here ones 2mb ends in 40 and other is 20mb ends in 1C but rest of mac exactly same off same server i think. the 2mb works but 20mb one as soon as its gets a dhcp response it goes back to scanning freq could that possibly be because i have bpi disabled?

Just use the 2Mb then, if it stays stable & you want to force, then try.

Each to their own when it comes to settings at the minute, including BPI, all I can say, is try different macs and different settings mate.

Normally best to change your nic mac every time you change hfc mac also.

I don't seem to beable to get any bootfiles when sniffing anymore? All was ok last week, but now just finds Macs but no bootfile at all? thanks
