A little backdoor key tutorial by me...

Ok, its 2.22 am and i'm bored, so heres a simple little tut to access your card if its asking for a backdoor/bd key.

If you're reading your card in nagra edit and it prompts you to enter a back door key, you will see the following...

This is easily solved, just download xncs (xtreme nagra card studio) XXXXXXX

Ensure nagraedit is closed, open xncs, click settings and tick all options except "ghost must be in eeprom" now click the green reset button, once card details are displayed click read card. Now click the eeprom tab and scroll through the eeprom dump until you find lines co40 and co70 make a note of the data at these two lines. (these are the bd keys!)
Close xncs, open nagraedit, read card, once again it will prompt for bd keys, try both keys, it may take a few attempts but you will eventually get access.

Now enjoy free tv! Easy. :banana:

That's for reading Original Smart Cards to modify them, it's not that simple any more with the latest card revisions.
