Hi Guys can anyone help me i have got a thompson Sky+ receiver, I have installed a new cable to my bedroom and fitted a sky tv link so i can change the channels in my bedroom, but it appears that i do not have any power 9v from my box. I have been into the engineers menu and activated the power but still no joy. Can anyone help me in this matter or is it that the box is faulty thanks very much guys ( orbital )

Services system setup then press 010 select and you get a hidden menu goto RF Outlets

Danielle, Have tried that rf outlets are switched on but still no power but thanks anyway ( orbital )

Have you got the right rf out - only socket 2 has the 9v supply on it.

On the TV link, is the led lighting, I presume not. You could try it directly into the back of the receiver to see if the led lights, if it does then it is your cable at fault. Can you try the TV link on another receiver to confirm the TV link is OK.
I also presume you have connected the lead to RF2. There is no power from RF1.

Hi Charlie have tried everything that you have suggested and still not working it looks as if the sky+ box is goosed but thanks very much for your help cheers
