Reddiesel is right. You need to set the default frequency, symbol rate and the net id for the box to update. Without the correct net id the box won’t be able to tune in any channel, even the FTA.
Also if it’s an old Pace 1000 model then it could have no auto update mod done to it.

I am trying to set the NET ID with fun card, like I said when I insert the card in the EM net id page the box reboot as it should but the net id still the same 0.9999 that is the reason it’s not updating, i have also tried libby and still no help ,any ideas guys?
PS: sim has 4 chips.

On 4000s I leave the red jumper off and boot from EM with the cable feed in then put the jumper back on. May work on a 1000.

I have tried that m8, pulled the jumper and boot up to EM then inserted the card still the same prob.

I have never had a Pace 1000 working in TW area unless its 1000 't' model... dont think its compatible in TW.. use the search button and have a look for the compatible table..

Yes as i said earlier the Pace 1000 wont work in TW unless its a 't' ... you could dump a mac from 1000t...

Thanks guys for all your help, according to the table this box should work here ANY PACE TELEWEST BOX (as far as I know!), I am still trying to get it to work, I had a go at libby and that didn't work I will try again later when I get home, last time I tried the display changed from showing "PACE" to "b int" for the first time.
