have you checked the battery see if its holding a charge //as tee111 said and as i said in my other post i have used a 1000t dump on the cw 1000s but i have lifted the atts on the sim good luck

Never tried a 1000 but done it with a 2000 & 4000n box-have to update it in exC&W area to take update to virgin platform 1st. Then you can bring back to TW land and it should work. You'll obviously have to set NetID's to C&W 1st then where you are. Also as said if it keeps going to 99999 in NetID it's prob batt not holding charge-check with multimeter when box off-should be around 3v.

when this box came to me it had a net id set probably CW so I wanted to reset the net id for TW then I pulled the jumper to hard reset the box and sence then I have tried libby and fun card more than few times but the net id stays stuck at 09999 just would not change, the box reboot when I insert fun card in the EM and message on tv says do not turn the box bla bla..but on the box display says pace and there is no sign of updating.

I have a working pace 1010 and I was thinking about swapping the simm just to get the other box pace 1000 to update then wap it back, would that be a good idea??

pretty sure that won't work-hasn't the 1001b got a 2 chip simm and the 1000 a 4 chip anyway? If netID won't change have you defo made sure battery is ok? Try setting the freq to 411.000 for example, save it then power box off & on again-if freq resets to 666.750(from memory) sounds like battery. Also what software is it on? Sounds like CR3 or 4? If so try the update in ExC&W and see if it goes over-it should do same as 2000/4000's

You are probably right about the battery coz I changed the freq and pin and move on to next page but when I go back to the first page to check both the freq and the pin have gone back to default, if it’s the battery what should I do about it, would I need to change it ? Where would I buy it from? code release version: *******CR1, is that the answer about the software?

Yes defo battery from sounds of it-do you have any spare boxes? And the software CR1 is a very old version-not sure if CR1 updates in C&W but it doesn't in TW for sure. You will need to lift TSOP's and dump a newer software on them-not a job if you're used to doing this if it won't go over in C&W
