Question Freeview Digital aerial problem

I'm having problems with pixellation, sound clicks and drop out of signal on my Samsung 26" TV watching Freeview. This is especially bad when the weather deteriorates. Our area is now fully digital no analogue
I had a Wideband aerial fitted 8 months ago to the roof of the building and the fitter said that his tester aerial was picking up a better signal than the wideband aerial when he tested it. To counter this at the time, I bought an aerial booster thinking this would resolve the problem. It does when the weather is good but, when bad, it's useless
I'm now thinking of replacing the wideband aerial with a better one.

Can anyone suggest good rooftop aerials which pick up a better digital freeview signal?

advice appreciated in advance..

cheers

What is your postcode?

Looks like Slx 48 element aerial (not the best quality aerial)

yes although benchmarked, they fall to bits very easy.

You will need a higher gain aerial - the Digi 343 should do fine.

And you will probably need Good Quality WF100 Cable

Thanks, will look into this later, the price seems reasonable too.
TBH the cable doesn't need replacing as it's 8 months new and apparently good quality (so the installer said), the aerial certainly does need replacing as the signal is just too weak and moves about a lot in the wind.(although it's fixed securely)

How long is the run of cable? Installers tend to use the cheapest possible cable (to save themselves money) it tends to be RG6 they install which isn't really suitable for very long lengths of cable.
