powersync unlooper help please

hello, im struggling here with powersync unlooper, im using window vista , connected unlooper , xpatmel , sidewindow also downloaded but not finding comm port, can anyone give me quick run down please, i be using rom 10 and 11 cards any help be super

i presume you using a rs232 usb adaptor , if so you must change the com port number to 1 or 2 within the device manager , also when using vista all applications must be ran as administrator ( right click on icon , run as administrator ).

were did you get the unlooper from?
has it com pre-flashed?
do you have a serial port?
do you have a serial 9 pin male to female r3232 lead?

you are going to struggle with vista, have you got another computer xp?

yes using serial converter, i downloaded drivers for it , its working fine. will try changing com port, now i have xpAtmel 1.31 any diff , again thanks

BOUGHT IT FROM UNIPAT. they didnt say it was pre flashed, yes tru serial converter,yes lead is fine also. when i connect my dynamite to computer it register on screen (icon) but the unlooper nothing.

powersync & all programs WILL work with vista m8, iv double cheked , i use powersysc on a xp sys tho ...& got mine form unapit ! it DIDENT come flashed so u will prob need to flash it , (are or have u used a programmer(phoenix usb on the same com port as ur useing the unlooper on ? if ur stuck give me a shout & i can try & find u some files for it e.c.t. good luck m8

many thanks geforcefx. i when my cable box went down, i used my dynamite plus programmer to get it going. this is my first try at opening a new card. ok when using dynamite i use 2 com ports usb , i tryed the unlooper on both ,i did a lot of reading downloaded everything i needed. but stuck now,

o.k m8, i would start everything again , i had alot of probs getting the right flash file .make sure its the 2009 file, after all that it should connect to the same com as ur using ur programmer on ,, try & use same port , could b that or not flashed right , think its numbers 1&5 down to flash then just 1 to unloop stuff , if ya stuck big! time, e-mail me on ere & i will try & help ya ......

Use a proper serial port and not USB to Serial. Also, check that the correct dip switches are set on the unlooper .
