Default New frequency

Looks like haxorwares locked on to a new frequency which at the same time improved my signal hmmm . Been up and running now with the new fixed firmware for 3 days solid on 20meg. Just making sure i used a 250 MAC and keeping the static ip section filled correctly along with stealth

Frequency 298 MHz

A whole multitude of reasons.

The main one is that VM we will be able to "see" you easier if you are doing so.

Also, there is no benefit whatsoever in using a static IP address unless you are running a server of some sort.

And even then it would be preferable to use a dynamic dns service...

And just to add to that,

your ISP will not give you a static IP, just cos your modem says it has one.

Yep thats true.

And as I said before, it has no bearing on performance whatsoever and if you knew what it was for and needed it that much, you'd know you needed to find a different solution!!!
