A mate of mine came up with a very clever idea to get the BK from a 2110C earlier. His thoughts were that if you were to take off the chip from the 2110C that contains the BK and solder it into a 2100C and then JTag the box, could this give us a valid BK? If this works, all credits to him

Nice idea , Hopefully people with the know how will comment on the praticalitys of said project. Gunna keep a eye on this thread.

I hope it works for us, I have a 2110C here with a false BK, I can get hold of a 2100C no problem.

not a clue G77, M8 ...but i hope they dont start doing it with all there new box's (making it hard to get the details off) <> im sure there someone out there that nows more about this than is letting on, 'would u tell the world if u knew this weeks lottto numbers !lol!

Hmm haven't seem an 8300 before, are they sammies? I wouldnt mind looking into this myself as my uni has all the appropriate facilities for tsop removal and refit are the chips the same? anyone got pics of the inside of both boxes?
