Hi,
Has anyone been able to receive ITV HD on any of the HD DM's? I can see it in the list but that's all no picture, no sound. I am aware that it does not broadcast all the time. I had it on the vantage (sad)

Any ideas?

Yes but you need to change the Vid and audio PIDs in the file lamedb

You need to edit the lamedb file in the etc/enigma2/ directory with the following line:

290e:011c0000:090b:003b:1:0
ITV HD
p:BSkyB,c:000d49,c:030d49,c:040d4a,c:050001,f:5

Download via FTP, edit with Editpad, DCC, EnigmaEdit, or UltraEdit
reload and chmod 755

Then unplug the Dreambox power and plug back in again. When it's booted up again ITV HD will be there.Some people are reporting they need to change the 011c0000 to 011a0000 depending on what version of satellites.xml you may have. The way to see is simply to look at the BBC HD or Luxe HD entry to see which value is correct for that satellite.

i take it that they are testing these hd channels thats why they arnt available on the v+ yet??

No, ITV HD transmits now and again on satellite. It is not available on cable.

once you've got itv hd in the channel list it may be greyed out. if it is, you need to manually scan the transponder....

Frequency (GHz): 11.427
Polarisation: H
Symbol Rate (Mbaud): 27.5
FEC: 2/3

it will then be in white on the channel list and you can now watch the testcard!

i flattened my box today as was going to do a full multisat bouquet with hd chans for enigma 1&2.

updates satellites xml and did a full scan all night.

when i came down this morning (at about 10am) i thought i'd better do the itv hd hack thingy again.....

after mucking about with it all day (now 3.40pm) trying to remember how i got it on on the first place i eventually get it on.

i start so sort through the 1st on the list is chan 1000.

this chan 1000 is only bloody itv hd! simply renaming it would have done the job!

FFS.

it's available on 3 different frequencies11.832 H, 11.428H and 11.973V, the latter is encrypted the first 2 are FTA. You may not need to do the patch on the 11.832H Tdr.
