****. I've never used Infinite but AFAIK you need the Amchobit config tool or something or other.

If I were you I would download Haxorware and install it on your modem. I flashed a infinite to haxorware yesterday, took me all of 5 minutes!!

Instructions are included in a readme with the haxorware download. All you need to do it is TFTP server software, PUTTY/Hyperterminal and haxorware itself. You do it thru the ethernet cable, so no need for MAX232's.
