can someone plz tell how i enter the commands for my ambit 250 after ht starts scrolling.cant sem to find answer.

For a start what does it say when you connect the modem to HT?

What is it ur trying to do? Flash the modem? U can find telnet commands in the sticky see if there anything in there to help u out.

after getting max232 cable im trying to understand whole process of getting back online. in haynes manual page 22 it explaines the point about hyperterminal then says i,ve got to input these commands:
cd non-vol\snmp
max_dload_tries 0
write
cd\ reset.

What firmware is on the modem if its Infinite then use 250 config program its in download section if its Hax use the webpage at 192.168.100.1

no need to do telnet :P

tried link but wont accept password root or admin. but in error mesage it said infinate.
