Java,
the most populer language by tiobe.
c#
known as the most advanced laguage ever built in short language for everything.

so what's ur choice.

I still will go for C++ coz' it's compact and produces a clean code everytime and no messy download on the client side.

A friend of mine told me that C# simply a copy of Java . I don't use these languages but I'm not surprised if microsoft has done it.

C# has a good learning curve, also the code is pretty portable due to .NET Framework.

C# is easy to learn as compared to Java but Java is great for developed high end programs
