hi looking to buy a mod virgin modem, seen plenty on flebay but dont think they have been modified, if i was too buy a ligit one how easy is it to mod any special tools required i.e jtagging equip ect. any help would be great thanks

try this for info on tools needed and setup.
xdz ive seen plenty of mods on treebay.but they dont specifically say what they are for obv reasons.they will just tell u what firmware they have on them eg.haxorware,sigma.if thats any help |

yeah.i knew.am just waitin for a max232 from fleabay.and gonna get an ambit to do myself.so that guide will come in handy.the guy hasnt sent the max232 yet though.big dispute.grrrr.i could do that myself aswell spose.got an old pc audio cable and a serial cable.just need adapter board,wonder if maplins sells them??

just bough a dsub 9 way plug.can i solder the 3 wires on my audio cable to the back of that ,,the red ,black and white ones.and then go into the modem with the white connector,is that a serial plug.i think it is.or do i need the board.hmm
