Ambit 255 help

Hello their im new to this site and i was wondering if someone could help me??
i have got and ambit 255 modem with haxoware software on it

the problem is that when i come to confg etc i cant even get the 192.168. page iv got a guy who charges me 40 pound to do it but iv been told that i can do it myself

but i can even get in to the haxoware page
can any one help me

Connect the modem directly to the PC and the access http://192.168.100.1

Then get back to us and tell us what you got there!

Thanks for your reply just tryed what you said and it says

page can not be displayed

the normal page you get when your net is down

Hey goto network connections, right click on your connection, properties, scroll down to internet protocol, double click it, click use the following IP address,
Set it as 192.168.100.11, then press tab so the subnet mask automaticly fills, press ok, now try it should work.

You shouldn't really have to set the IP that way to get into haxorware but give it a go, it may fix you up.

Try firing up your command prompt and type:

telnet 192.168.100.1

And then tell us what happens.

the guy who i was goin to give he said to me that it takes ages and have to load a few softwares etc to get to the haxoware homepage
and then you have to do the mac and the config etc

and guess what you guys solved the problem in seconds

man am i glad that i have joined this forum site


if i have any problems il know who to ask

He's a liar. He wants your money only.

Once you have the hang of it, it takes about 5 - 10 minutes to flash a modem.

also yea Hax is easy to do. anymore problems come back to us
