Default twin tuner

is there any way of finding out if one of the tuners has gone or is going down,I can record one program with no problem but if I try to record two at the same time one program fails or will not record the full program either starting late or finishing early.I have Humax PVR 9200t

Is it up to date with the latest software?
Are they scheduled timer recordings or manual recordings?
If scheduled timer recordings,are you sure that both being added to the timer list?

yes it has the latest software on it, i believe they are scheduled recordings and no have not checked whether they are being added ,will do so next time . thanks

Whilst not recording:
Select the PIP function. If you can PIP eg BBCONE and BBCTWO, then both pictures may be from a single tuner.
If you PIP eg BBCONE and ITV1 then both pictures must be from different tuners, so if either displays as a black image a tuner is faulty.

thanks nvingo will give it a try when tv becomes free, might have to book a slot.

have just tried it guess one tuner is down as i can only get two bbc channels ,try a different channel and the screen stays black.
