Default Watch Sky&Freeview HD

Hi
I have a SKY+ box and have just bought a Pannasonic HD TV with built in FREEVIEW HD. Is it possible to connect the dish to the TV by splitting ONE of the out put points that go into the SKY box? At the moment I have to disconnect the lead from the SKY box and connect to the TV. Not vert practical. Perhaps there is a box/switch that would do the job?
Kind regards
GAry

i beleive there are splitters but you will only receive channels on the multiplex that the lnb is tuned to (i think) what i do know though is you would be better off getting a quad lnb (unless you already have one) then you simply run a seperate line to your tv

Thanks for the reply. Have a quad already but would prefer to split at the other end. (I'm lazy)

No you cant split a LNB feed. The receiver sends signals to the LNB to switch polarity and frequency.

Does your Panasonic TV have freesat or, just as you say, freeview? If it has freeview then it is a terrestrial signal and not satellite.

As you have Sky+, you most likely have a quad LNB with a spare output, you could run a co-ax from a spare output of the LNB and try that
