Default using eurovox with coax cable

hi
Im trying to setup my box using a coax cable . the reason for this is because when i use a scart lead the background noise is terrible plus the picture moves from right to left every now and then .
when i try to use the coax no signal is detected from the install utility on the tv . its probably a simple setting but only if you know what one
can anyone help me ? thanks in advance
ian
