Default Broadband activation message

Hello All, I am a new poster and I would like some help,I have been reading many of the post here to familiarise myself with where to post, I hope this is the right place?
I have a sb5101e with hax f/ware I followed the haxo synch tut and rebooted moden with a known Mac from a friends area about 10miles away
all went well, I had a working modem.. Then I went on IE and got this message

"Please click on this link to proceed with Broadband Ativation..."

When I did It took me to vermins home page

any idea's what's happened? have I stuck gold or struck out??

I didnt go any further until I get help

Please can somebody help me with this, Thanks
