I have been changing keys with no problem at all for the last god knows how long now. but the when i change the newest one on the 07/05/09 it doesnt seem to work. I am on ex cw and changed them the same as i always have. When i turn my dbox back on the keys have reset themselves back to what they were before i changed them. Can anyone help please. Thank you in advance.

Your box memory might be full and has become read only, you can try flashing a new image. Try the lincsat beta 7.25 fullish image i think it has all the necessary stuff including auto updating keys, or some of the other members maybe able to give you better advice.

Had the same problem on a friends box...it was as simple as changing the 5A01 to 5401...or other way around, dont remember, lol

tbh, im no expert, but a friend needed the keys so i passed them on...he called back and said they didnt work...told him to read the entire line to me...one was 5401 and one was 5A01...so we changed them to matching and it worked

give it a go before reflashing...cant do any harm

I think Ex C&W would start 5C01, Pure NTL 5401, and TW 5A01
