I think my area is like the ex-C&W in that none of the existing fixes worked any more. I did some non-vol voodoo in the style of fitz.

My UBR:
Pure
Static configs
BPI+

Process:

Reset FW back to stock using the Haxorware GUI.
Reset non-vol to stock using telnet.

Copied data from dynamic and perm non-vol of a subbed 250 on 2.94.1015 using tftp_write, winhex and tftp_read.

Areas copied:
n/bpi
n/docsis
n/ds-cal
n/us-cal
n/halif
n/snmp

Then I set snmp up to report the correct values for the 1015 FW in docsDev, and specified FW update successful.
The stealth page in Haxor was also set up correctly, with stock ports..and disable snmp after reg and redirect traps UNTICKED (if i tick these or change the ports, it drops. i've run SNMP debug and the modem now gets queried after reg)..

A 250 MAC (rts22) was entered for the HFC MAC, with enet, USB and serial set correctly (+6 -1, etc). Cert generation set to Motorola EURODOCSIS (anyone tried SA to spoof a 2100?)

config file was set to *250-rts22-nb.cm as the normal 22 specifies a frequency in the config now and my modem can't lock the DS. TFTPIP left blank. (obviously if my area was 'dynamic' this wouldn't work).

Reset switch was enabled using SNMP.

Haxor settings page:
Everything UNTICKED except - Ignore unknown and Factory mode.

BPI mode set to BPI (Docsis 1.0)

After quite some ****ing about, I found I could only get the modem to stay connected longer than about 1 hour by disabling IGMP in n/d (WTF?!)

Tried a few MACS now and works on all of them. Modem currently been up 14hrs straight, could only get 5mins-1hr before, using the 0.3 test fix.

I think it'd be useful now if we start a thread of what works, in what area / UBR config...although the difficulty will be weeding out the values that actually needed to be changed, from those that were just changed anyway.
