Default help with new receiver &patching please

Hi Guys
you have all been fantastic with all my queries.
I currently have a 60cm dish with monobloc 13e and 9e
The current pay channel provider (sun tv uk) is moving to 9e from 13e....my current receiver (strong 4405) about 6 years old is struggling to cope with 9e and 13e.
im looking to buy a new receiver (2 card slots) can i have advice on what receiver you would recommend and also i would like to try my hand on patching etc (any links about basics of patching will be greatly appreciated)
extremely sorry about the long question
thank you for reading
