Do i need to put Max232 in? What am i doing wrong.

the cd part is not in caps

cd /snmp

your doind the first part wrong but right lol

the command he gives in the first post is cd nonvol. i had alook and its cd non-vol

so try

cd non-vol

command worked for me but the autoserve didnt

That's why commands should be copy n pasted from a good source, typos are too easy to make when doing typing them manually.

This is something that interests me a great deal.

On that note, if old configs work, then shouldn't ANY docsis compliant config work?

made a couple myself but there not so stable.

for one, when i do a spoeedtest, the upload just carrys on and on and doesn't stop. its 3.5 mb like, lol
