Are you using the latest image for your box? What are your signal levels like?

Give us as much information about your setup as possible, ie - Are you using splitters? What make is the box? Model no? Is the coaxial cable feed connectedly tightly without any of the outer shielding touching the copper core?

75% of problems with channels not working is due to poor signal, in turn down to poor cabling, or use of splitters, which in turn, dregrade the signal levels.

Hello morrisoft. Ok, Im not using any splitters, the cable is coming stright ito the box. The box is the kryptview a750 and its flashed witht the latest firmware. As for the shielding, its a new cable and looks good. What exactly is the outer shielding? I no for a fact that at the back of the box its ok but where its joined to the wall it may not be as good. There are none of them little copper wires touching anything.

The signal level ranges from 55 to 88. I would say that its around 50% of channels are 55 and visa versa. As i say all the channels work apart from ss1 and 3 even if they are on 55. I tried turning the signal deviation up 1 when doing a scan, but ended up having hardly any channels. I also turned it down one and did a scan, that produced the same results as having no deviation.

Thanks morrisoft.

Anyone got any ideas? Footies on tonight!! Tried many more factory resets and scans with no 1 or 3. Only other thing i could think of now is putting an older firmware on it..

Cheers

Hello Mate,

I live in soton and can get ss1 and3. Me pa and a mate live in a dif area in soton than me, couldnt get ss1 and 3 and a few other chans like GOLD etc, I tried a booster on there box for em but no good.

Some 1 told me that it was because the signal that was comin through there box was Anologue and not Digital.

2 Days after the recent Digi switch over me pa suddenly started receiving all channels but me mate who lives in a slightly dif area still not.

Hope this helps
