change net id for di4000n

hi peeps,

i'm trying to change the net id for one of my mates box i bought of him to my area. when i got it it said 9999, and i'm trying to change it to 41050 cw. so i've tried everything in the procudure, reset the box by pulling the red jumper and made fun net id reset and put it in whislt the box is on page 2 of eng menu, the box resets as expected and turns back on after loading and saying your box is being updtaed and all the blah blah blah, after its done it dow load up as when i checked the net id its changed to 26684 which is strange, but i put in 41050. well i've tried a few times and same result. any ideas why its happening. th box is running on cr3.2

Do you get any channels after it reboots?

What are you using to create the fun files?

Have you tried netid v2.17?

had a few of these, a scart/serial adapter is handy in this case but it can be done with a max232 and a bit of solder

also check the battery is holding a charge ...change the default set the pin see if it hold i use scart to rs232 so no probs

double make sure its the corect bk as this hapened turned out 1 digit was rong,
power dwn box pull red jumper,
wate 30 secs
put jumper bak on
power up in eng menu
set pin manualy save
put in card and leev it in wilst update

Also try writing files in following order.

Exteep
Inteep
Flash
Inteep again

Dont forget to erase card a couple of times before writing files.
