Default Data Streaming

I have seen a data streaming service last week in Cyprus that was just like watchign satellite tv no brake up in picture. I spoke to the guy who had it and he claimed it was the future and satellite would be defunk???

He was telling me they supply clients all over the world with BBC and American clients in Europe with channels direct from the USA.

I have seen data streaming on my PC and he keeps braking up this was smooth and never glitched once and the othe rthing it was not on the PC it was a receiver that connected direct to the TV

Any advice you can give me this
