Default box required

Hi

I would like to purchase a to be able to view all channels.
I live in the London- old telewest region.

1) Need to purchase a box
2) need to know how to update the box as and when required.

Many Thanks

Then you've come to the right place.
Use the search function and read the threads regarding all the boxes and all will be revealed including who and who not to purchase off.

For a first timer the best place to start and the cheapest ( no equipment needed ) would be eurovox , starview boxes etc. They are easy to program all you need is a null modem cable and a pc.

There is a reputable forum member known as Lincsat he can supply various third party boxes and cable needed

In the mean time pop over to the eurovox section and have a
read of Ronster's thread and see if this is something for you?

All the boxes have pretty much the same function.A lots just down to ease of use.
If you just want to watch channels and don't want the record facilities i'd probably go for the kryptview A750.
Easy to update plenty of support and sets the channels up same as a vm box.No messing with cdf files etc.
