Default Is it possible VM are logging Haxo modems

2 Of my modems have gone down but worked flawlesly until i either changed macs or scanned for more macs, even if i try the once old working macs they last minutes.

So i solder in a chip in a 256 and bang a new mac in it spoof the nic too and im back in business for like 3 days until i decide to change from a 2 meg mac to a 20 and bang that modem goes of too and now it wont stay on either with any or the original mac

So im thinking are they somehow logging the clones using haxoware
could there be a way for them to do this ?

It just seems strange that a new modem stays on but if you play with the macs they fail.

Im ex c&w and im using no bpi and the default stealth although ive tried many combo's im still left thinking that the haxware modems are somehow being blacklisted.

Good theory mate it defo looks like it, i have had a mac working for 4Day's then it goes off then i use an old mac that worked before that lasts for 4Day's then off.. then back to the other 1 also in the process of all this i change nic mac all the time.. VM is up to something as in teeside you can't get 20mb 10mb, just the silly 2mb..

Yes it is indeed a possibility.

Just as we work against them, they certainly work against us.

I suspect that if your modem does not have the exact identifiers, then they will see that!

i've been on for weeks, not bothered spoofing any identifiers with one of them and its cool. (only as a test, i'll be changing it to spoof soon)

i dont suggest you leave the defaults in thou, any way you can get your modem to look like a real one is best done

they can see the bootloader version too. this can be overcome by upping the betty bootloader using thr hax gui
