Default Help!!!!!

Hi everybody, the problem i have is that i have a st*rview 4 box but am moving house to an area that does not have cable. I was wondering if there was a similar system that runs off a satellite dish, as i am mortified there is no cable in the area. i hope you can help me many thanks in anticipation of your help

Yes there is its called a Sky Digibox, and if you want all the channels it will cost you about 40 quid a month.

If you want free sky then forget it.

its not necessarily sky, in fact am not ar*ed about sky its mainly footy when the season is on, am just gutted because i cant use my st*rvi*w when i move, and just wondered if there was anything before i have to fork out for sky which will gut me even more, so the sarcasm is not appreciated

Ok, without the sarcasm.

No, there is not a similar system. The majority of the sat providers use encryptions that are secure unlike VM's

thanks,if it isnt the wrong type of question to ask, what types of programming do you get on your systems, are they worth purchasing and are they as easy to set up as st*rview?

Getting into satellite is more of a hobby, rather than just trying to get pay channels for free like with cable.

I have a 1m motorised dish and a HD Technomate receiver, and to be honest, I'm never short of stuff to watch. There's always something on somewhere worth watching, from approx 15 to 20 satellites. In the SE I'm lucky as I can get 7W and 26E, with a few FTA movie channels available. I don't watch sport myself, so I don't know about that. I think there is at the moment some stuff available.

thanks for the info, its much appreciated, i dont really have the time to spare scanning and rescanning so i think it will have to be sky,d'oh
