Default Jumpy / Pixelating Channels

Hi All,
Can anyone in the Inverclyde Area tell me if they have recently started to have problems with jumpy channels etc.
I have 3 boxes, HD - MaxV & SL1000 and the MaxV & SL have started to jump / freeze with a message coming up saying no signal.
Regards
Taz

Check your signal strength, if below 78 get a signal booster.

if signal is to strong 85-90+ bring it down.got mine between 75-83% and its never happened since.a signal that is to strong is as bad as a weak one.

EX1000SL 24.02.09 Booster & No-Sort

Did you check this out Mctazzz.apparently the booster's in the firmware for the ex1000 after you update the box.Haven't tried it myself as i have the ex5100.

Ive got the February firmware with the signal boost option on my ex1000, However, with it on or off seems to make no difference at all to the signal strength reading , I'm not convinced it does a thing .. (but then I didnt have a problem before this firmware update anyway, other than needing a cheapo Labgear Booster to amp the signal, without which the signal strength reading would nearly always sit on 8% , but with the booster it stays on 80%. I really dont think the EX1000's signal strength reading meter is at all accurate or indicative of the the actual signal strength coming in..

Hi Again,
I have tried various firmware oprions with varying success.
The firmware with bosster option - Seems to be stable but getting 8% signal on some channels.
Latest firmware - getting all channels but very jumpy mainly Setanta and ITV channels ?
I will try a booster now in the hope this cures the problem

The firmwares won't make much diffrence to the jumpy channels.
Latest firmware fixes your 8% issue you are having.

Hi All,
Tried signal booster,
Argos 1 Way Plug-In Aerial Booster. 534/4235

Made no difference to signal level at all, if I turn the booster down I loose picture completely.

Can any of you nice peeps recomend a booster that works

Thanks

Taz
