i recon they change with what modem you 'have' ie, what modem the mac is from.

i also recon that there intention is to split it up so each mac has to use its assigned freq, that way they can balence the load across all the freqs they have

My area changed from *,8 to *.3 also, at just the same time BPI+ came out...and the *-nb configs were then seen

just found something, when I use a new mac I check the lease time and its only set for a few mins.
then I try and autoserve cmbus-pkg3-nat-any.cm (config from G77)without the commands the modem fails to lock onto any freq
so I turn off autoserve and just use the config that the modem downloads then I check the lease time again and bingo I get

(51) Lease time = 604720 seconds
(58) T1 (renew) = 302360 seconds
(59) T2 (rebind) = 529130 seconds

with any mac I use, tried this 6 times now and all 6 modems keep the lease time above then I force a 20mbit config recheck lease time and its the same.

Im in a pure area on tftp 10.137.103.3
