im begining to think they should call it junglef***er lol, thats twice on the last version it has bombed out on me half way through the procedure, it either hangs up or doesnt recognise this or that, then when i eventually got to "WRITE" 2 hrs later it freezes, thankfully i managed to save the firmware and wrote with dosflash, i was hoping this version would maybe have been a bit more stable for me, but it done the exact same again, it must just be my system, cause a lot of peeps are having no probs with it

Are you using a via sata card? If so delete the drivers in device manager, then delete this file.. c:\windows\system32\drivers\viamraid.sys
Once I did this not had a problem with it since with an version

Use WinApi if you are using onboard SATA, PortIO32 is for VIA chipsets only.

as blakey said slect win api in jungle flasher, what drive are you trying to flash?

I would like to confirm that the new jungle flasher has let extract, erase and flash Hiachi-47, liteons and Ben Qs with no problems on an intel sata chip set in XP. I am putting this out there as this was not posable befor JF 1.6 for me
