Default Autoserve No longer working

About two or three days ago my internet went off and i was able to figure out that Autoserving the config caused the modem to continuosly scan, so i had to use the default config. I've tried a few with no success still getting 2Mb but its such a big drop from 20 lol.

I'm in Belfast and i'm using Haxorware Version 1.1 Revision 31

Any sugesstions would be much appreciated?

When autoserving you need to enable "TFTP Enforce Bypass"

Check that you have done this and then please post again.

Thanks for the reply

Yeah its enabled, I don't even know if i have the right configs I got one from someone here and the others i downloaded through the modem after manually entering them, but that won't work since they are encrypted right? I was using the cmbus-pkg3-nat-any.cm config but noticed in another thread that it has changed.

If your area is now dynamic I am unsure if you will still be able to force.

You'll just need to go woth the config that comes with the MAC, keep trying till you find a 20 meg. But tbh 10 meg is better than nought.

I have a 20 meg MAC but it disconnects after 15mins. I heard since they became dynamic you needed to use a 00:02 MAC. I would be more than happy with 10 meg but Virgin have yet to roll out the change from 2Mb to 10Mb here.

Yes as leeds says, when in this situation you really do need to trawl through MAC's but don't get disheartened it does take a while, but once you a hit a good one you'll be sorted.
