ffs can we get back to the thread! a lot of people are getting wound up over the security measures vm have now introduced, lets work together instead of bitchin at each other at the end of the day we all knew that the gravy train would come to a stop :P

Anyway, I think there is limited scope for this config editing lark as it seems it only works for very few people.

Excw seems to be a particular problem as far as modems go pure seem to settle on most things along with tw but the cw area is a nightmare

it seems ok to me, once i figured out the custom config thing its been shweet with the right mac.

5/10 are giving me a week long lease time too.

G77, when you said you used Gavin as the auth string, have you also tried leaving it blank? If so, what happens when you leave it blank? Does the config still work the same or does it not sync up at all?
