Got this working ages ago - depends on the frequency noted in your config and set on haxoware, also i just took out the lines about down and upstream speed - only 299000000 worked for me . It took a few attempts with different freq combinations.

Also you need a 20mb mac for some reason / lease ip last about a week - sometimes longer.

no I mean when he made the mistake and got all this children stuff..

what prog did he use to open the config to see this writing ??

in other words what was the "WRONG THING" he downloaded... I think that the questions may be key in cracking the MD5.

I'm a bit n00by, but I have a theory that I want to check out, I just don't want to post it all up here for now until I know if I'm on the right track or not.

Lol Vultureware. You get the errors (at least one) when you open a d1.1 config in Vultureware.

The bug that used to let you do this (till full dynamic came along) was that the CM and CMTS MIC checks weren't implemented properly. With the full dynamic system, you can't autoserve a config at all, even un-edited.

cheers dude...

looks like I've wasted a few hours of my life trying to find a way around the MD5 lol.

any news on the new modems yet ? ng300 ?

here's another question, a little off topic, my mac is 20mg, it was running a full 20 a couple of weeks ago when i speedchecked it.

now it's gone down to 10, I'm assuming this is due to a downgrade on the mac owners part and not vermin strangling my connection ?

Download the config from the 'overview' page of the Hax GUI and open it with vultureware. Specificed DS speed cap / service plan name (L/XL) will be in there
