Have you tried making a 0/0 config?
That should give you the maximum possible attainable speed with your modem. Try it out and post results, that would be interesting. Seems to only be working in certain areas though. So you are obviously autoserving, any chance you could email me a config to try? email me on over9000 at hushmail dot me e2a: the config you just done that speedtest with. |

now we have established that making own / editing existing configs 'works' we need to know what the stuff in vultureware means....
we know that CPE is customers premises equipment, meaning how many external ip's the modems gives out whats network access control? whats class of service privacy enable? whats class id?

well the upstream transmit burst doesnt like being changed, either to 0 or 3200 from 1600
